Events
24th - 25th August. Uffington White Horse Show
We enjoyed two days at the Uffington White Horse Show with plenty to see and do. Thankyou to Dave and the organisers for inviting us.
10th August. Second Club Open Day at Coate Water.
There was a good turnout for our second open day of the year. There was a small amount of weed in the Harbour, which broke up easily, so didn’t stop us
running the boats.
Ed, Matt and Alan put on a good display of their remote control buggies, with several small jump ramps.
Thankyou to Alan for getting there early and marking out our enclosure.
31st May - 1st June. Trout Inn Lechlade.
There was a good display of Classic Cars, Tractors, Traction Engines and plenty of interest from the public on both days.
Thankyou to those who helped organise and run the event.
18th May. Club Open Day at Coate Water.
There was a great turnout for our first open day of the year, with over 20 members present. We drew a large amount of interest from the public around the static
models and those running on the water, which included a yachting competition organised by Nigel.
John H also displayed his classic car.
Thankyou to those who helped clear the weed from the Harbour before the event.
4th May. Lambourn Vintage Machinery Society Show.
The Lambourn Show had a good display of Classic Cars, Land Rovers, Stationary Engines, jumble sale and a Brass Band. Our Club put on a good display of
Model Boats, Engines and Model Cars. Alan, Ed and Matt did a sterling job of laying on two Model Car assault courses, that the public could have a go on.
4th March. Winter Projects Exhibition.
The March Meeting was a great success, with plenty of Model Boats and other Projects on display.
